In this episode, we carry on restoring the salvageable parts from the M40B16 engine I originally took from the red touring. I have now stripped another M40B16 for all of the main components that were ruined in the original, including the block. This new engine had covered 135k miles before it was pulled out and looks brand new in comparison to the old one.

Coming soon will be an episode of the honing and skimming of the 'new old' engine. By which point everything else should be restored and ready to go back together.
